Looking through past gems.

I found this from Halloween and thought I would post it. This picture had gone unfixed until today and it makes me smile so I thought I would post it. We had an ER visit, I hate it when the kids get hurt. My oldest daughter got pushed by my 5 year old and hit her head on the bed, spliting it open. Poor thing, but the sweetest part was how my oldest son was worried sick for her. Right after she left for the ER I heard him crying and I came into his room to find him on his knees praying for her. After his prayer, I comforted him and told him she would be just fine, but he couldn't stop crying he was so worried about her. She didn't even need stitches, which totally shocked me with the amount of blood and seeing the wide ipen gap. So, she's home and we just need to wash her hair 2 times a day to keep the area clean. So an eventful night and I'm exhausted. More later.

Layer Masks

A couple of photos I fixed today. And my love for layer masks. I use them in my actions and I love how convient they are! I use them to erase the lips if they get to bright and also to erase hot spots on the cheeks. You could also do a color balance layer of blue and erase a person back in to make the sky extra blue. Or a green color balance layer for grass etc. Here's a tutorial to download on layer masks to help make the most of my actions for those who are interested. Hopefully, I made it look easy because it is!

A couple more...

Don't have a lot to say today, my things have been busy lately! I'm behind on some deadlines and working on Scout stuff this afternoon. I'm a den leader for my sons scout troup, and trying to get some fun things planned. Here's a couple photos though, I'm going to try and atleast post 1 photo a day. I also want to move my blog if I can ever figure out how to work the HTML text like I want to on my other site. Wish me luck!

Wow...

My 8 year old has always had a knack for photography. Well, he begged me to use my camera today and even said, look how perfect the light in here is! Cracked me up, so I let him take a few of my daughter and I'm sooo impressed! I can't believe what a good job he did! I set the camera, used the histogram and put it in manual so he would have the lighting right and told him were to focus the little red light and he just went to town! Beautiful focus for an 8 year old holding a heavy camera heh? He wants to enter it into the fair...cutie pie!

Wedding time...

My handsome husband.

The wedding was near a farm, snapped this one after the ceremony.

My cute little nephews.

boys in trees.

I started a new blog, but I'm still working on it. Here's the address, if anyone knows how I can put all the link info on the right hand side let me know, I'm still trying to figure it out, but I like it better. Here's the http://myphotography.blogsome.com/. My mother in law was married this weekend and it was a blast! All of my in-laws are incredibly musically talented and we had a dance that was soooo much fun! My husband is such an amazing dancer and so much fun to dance with. There are a couple of pictures of him singing (he has a gorgeous voice too). He also plays the bass guitar. My brother-in-laws play the drums, slide guitar, guitar, and my sister in law plays the piano. They are incredible! They played for hours and we all just danced and enjoyed ourselves! These are some of the pictures I got from the wedding day. I used my actions on all of these, both the color wonder and the vibrant action sets. More later, I took alot!
