Photos from today...

We had such a nice, quiet Sunday! I really enjoyed being with the kids and husband, no where to go nothing to do but enjoy the day. If you haven't signed up already for google reader you should!!! I LOVE it! I have several photography blogs that I frequent and it's a breeze to see new posts from those blogs immediately after they are posted. So it's like your own personal home page with all your favorite updated blogs to click through. Side note, I used the Light and airy BW from the color Kick set on the first two with the bw depth on top and the Colorful Kick action on the color photos.

Baby

Also, here's a few new photos of the baby, I used the Colorful Kick and the light and airy black and white from the Colorful action set to process these. He's getting sooo big! We are also in the process of finishing our basement right now and it's almost done!!! I plan on taking pictures and posting them. Hopefully I'll get that done today and post them tommorrow.

Twirls

Just a few of my girls playing in their new Pettiskirt. They LOVE it! I've been playing around with some new actions for these shots, one in particular that makes the sky blue. I'm really enjoying it, it adds just the right amount of pop to the sky. My plan is to get an actual business website soon, I've been looking into too it and trying to figure out what kind of site I want. More later!

Bathtime at our house

It's a tubful! Just had to snap these quick photos of my kiddos getting clean. I always want to remember these days, I know how fast they go by. My oldest is 10 years old now, how did that happen so quickly? I just want to treasure each and every moment and i love photography for that very reason. I can preserve a moment in time with one click of the shutter, I love that. We are having a lazy day today. Went to Church, and now we are all just playing and relaxing together. I'm doing a 4H photography group with my boys, so I think we might have a meeting today to get a project ready for the State Fair. It's been fun, I'm so glad my mother in law suggested it.

My cutie pies

Got the cute little onesie from the Quilt baby.

Caught one of big brother too walking by, the sky was so perfect.

I was out playing with my camera taking some photos of my cute little guy yesterday. I caught these, the green blanket threw a green cast onto his face in some of my photos, anyone out there know how to fix that? I tried desaturating the green channel, no luck, tried selective color, no luck, tried color balance, no luck. I'm out of ideas and I adore one photo (not posted here), but it has that awful green cast back up on his face. Ugh. Dang rug!
